The Ag Guild is a 501©(3) non-profit organization with the primary purpose to foster sustainable agriculture in San Juan County. Building a Permanent Farmers’ Market on San Juan Island is the Ag Guild’s first project.
A Permanent Farmers’ Market will provide
Ø A year-round location for our Farmers’ Market to thrive
Ø The freshest, most flavorful, and most nutritious local farm-raised and prepared foods all year
Ø Mid-week and winter Farmers’ Markets that can include farmers from all our islands
Ø A fun and festive community gathering space
Ø Increased opportunities to buy local and reduce our carbon footprint

Permanent Farmers' Market
Feasibility Study Report
We have completed a first draft of our Feasibility Study, which identifies the Nichols Street property as the most reasonable site for a permanent farmers' market. Here is more information about the report.
Donate now to help us build the permanent farmers' market!
The Farmers' Market is 10 am to 1 pm at the Courthouse Parking lot.
It is there every Saturday until the third week in October.
The mid-week farmers' market is Wednesdays 3:00 to 6:00 pm
at the grassy open space across the street from the courthouse parking lot in Friday Harbor. It will run into September.
The next Ag Guild meeting is Monday, June 29th
at 1 pm at the Conservation District office.
